On Wednesday, March 2, Greg Stone '84, will conduct a two-hour session devoted to media interviewing and presentation skills.  The event will be limited to 10 people, on a first-come first-served basis.

Under the lights, volunteers will be videotaped as they undergo mock interviews.  During playback, we will critique their style, body language and substantive content.  

Greg Stone began his professional life as a print and broadcast journalist, and he estimates that he has written hundreds of stories and conducted at least 10,000 interviews.  He worked behind the camera as a writer at Time Inc. in New York, and on-camera as an investigative reporter at WBZ-TV in Boston and as a freelance correspondent for the Nightly Business Report on PBS.  His professional honors include three Emmy nominations over a dozen years as a newsman.

Since founding Stone Communications (www.gregstone.com) in 1989, Greg has conducted countless workshops for senior executives at IBM, Sybase and 3M, Deans at Harvard University, rocket scientists at the Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, the owners of the LA Dodgers, financial leaders at Fidelity, inventors at the Worldwide Web Consortium and many others.  He has also guest-lectured on media relations at Harvard Business School.

Greg graduated with honors from Harvard College, and earned two master’s degrees from Columbia in journalism and business.
